What we believe

We believe:

  • • In the Bible as the infallible Word of God.
  • In a Sole God, who manifests himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • In forgiveness and cleansing from sin by the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
  • In the necessity of conversion and the following rebirth, granted by God.
  • In the necessity of the ministry of the biblical water baptism by immersion, exclusively to consciously believers.
  • In the baptism by the Holy Spirit with the written revelation of speaking in tongues, spiritual gifts and ministries.
  • In the power of the Holy Spirit, who kills the workings of the body and thereby enables us to live a sanctified, victorious life. This also makes the nine-fold fruit of the Holy Spirit become manifest, with the possibility to sprout to completeness, as it is through God.
We believe in Devine healing of the sick based on the completed work of Jesus Christ, (including the healing of memory).
  • In deliverance of the bounded, based on the authority of the name of Jesus Christ, who has all power both in heaven and on earth.
  • In the Second Coming of Jesus Christ as Judge over the living and the dead. This with the marvellous knowledge that for those who are in Christ, there will be no condemnation, but eternal life.
  • In the necessity of celebrating Holy Communion regularly; proclaiming the death of the Lord, until He returns.
  • hIn fulfilling the great assignment, which the Lord has entrusted unto us: “Go, into all the world, preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptised will be saved., but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe.”

“In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak new languages; they will pick up serpents; and even if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well” (Marcus 16:15-18)

We state with great emphasis: the Word of God has absolute power over any confession of Faith!

Our vision and mission

Our mission statement is:

Church with influence by making Jesus know.

We believe in a church:

Everything revolves around Him. He is the centre of our preaching, prayers and song services. Everybody who walks in here, will notice that the focus of attention is not the church, a person or an organisation, but the Son of the Living God, the resurrection and the life; Jesus Christ.
From the personal relationship believers have with Jesus flows enthusiasm, love and passion. Jesus is the uniting factor of the congregation. He is the source of our joy, compassion and activities.
We love God’s Word and we believe it to be authoritative. Everything we do, is founded on the Bible. This is why we offer many options for in-depth biblical teachings on the principles of God. We want God’s Word to be spread and shared and we believe that it will always have an effect.
We believe in a church of generations, where both young and old are able to grow up in unity and optimally develop themselves. We have something for every generation. Everybody is important. In short, everybody is included.
We believe that prayer is the driving force of our church. Prayer therefore takes in a prominent place within the church and in our personal lives. We believe God answers prayers. This is why we motivate and stimulate personal prayer ánd we find it important to have moments of prayer as a church collectively. We also believe in worship within which God is present, so we may see His glory. We express our love for God by means of contemporary and powerful praise & worship. God the Father seeks worshippers who worship Him in Spirit and Truth.
We are a place where people come to faith. We believe that when nonbelievers walk in here, the presence of God will overwhelm them with love that urges them to walk into the arms of Jesus. We believe that people who live far away from Jesus, will feel love, joy and safety by experiencing the love of Jesus. We offer them solid education and guidance for a healthy and fruitful life.
Grace is God’s undeserved graciousness and has nothing to do with self-justice. This message resounds in all our services. From this believe, the church is a place of mercy where everybody is most welcome.
We believe the church to be more than just a service on Sunday. We are the hands and feet of Jesus on this earth and we give Jesus a face. This is why we think it is important to share with the poor and less fortunate. We make a sound of hope in the city by, among other things, pampering-days for single mothers. We do not only want to make a difference in our own environment, but also throughout the world. Through, among other things, sponsoring underprivileged children in Africa, outreaches to Romania and offering education by means of a Bible school in Kenya and Suriname, we see the world as our work field.
We believe in the power, the reality and the works of the Holy Spirit, to testify, to heal and to set free.
We believe that we, as a church, are a family that offers security and attention for everybody and where people care for each other. We encourage each other to develop gifts and talents and we want to set people free in their ministry. We believe in strong marriages and families and we are a church which stands together in unity and forms a strong community, and which can bring a change in this nation because of that unity and love.
We believe the church not to be a house, but a home. A place where people like to come and where people are fed, can rest, be themselves and receive safety. We believe the church offers a home to family and a warm welcome to guests!
